“Stayed here for 2 nights with my children, just a little getaway as love the area. Hotel staff very friendly and helpful. Like that there are 2 single beds in room as well as double, rather than an uncomfortable sofa bed for children. We choose the hottest days of the year so far to stay, so needed the fan that was provided in the room and the windows open at night. Easy walking distance to everything, breakfast was plentiful, kept us going most of the day. Would definitely stay again.”
“Rooms were tiered, basic for the price and location: I anticipated a better standard. The kettle was in a horrible state, I'm aware of the hard waters but at least attempt to clean it or chuck a lime scale sachet in. I did ask for a replacement and was happily provided with one. Staff were friendly and helpful. However the receptionist in one occasion was speaking to a customer on loadspeaker and was being sarcastic to the customer, although warranted judging by the customer on the other end, I just thought it was a bit unprofessional.”
